I went to see the St. Lucy’s Day parade for the first time in my life and below are some of the things I saw. The Scandinavian December 13th tradition in Finland is mostly organised by the Swedish speaking Finns.

It's 50 minutes to the start of the parade but there are already lots of people on the Senate's Square. St. Lucy gets her candlecrown in a ceremony inside the church.
